Although we try extremely hard to inspect and check all of our babies & merchandise, it is possible that a flaw or mistake will get by our inspection.  Please read this warranty VERY carefully.
*Warranty Policy for Finished Silicone Dolls and Unfinished Silicone Kits*:
~After your package has arrived, you will need to inspect your baby within 7 DAYS of arrival no exceptions.  If you see a mistake or artistic flaw, the first action will be for you to immediately notify the artist and the artist will reimburse you for return shipping for a Priority Mail return only after the artist's knowledge and consent of return shipping.  The artist of your baby will remedy the mistake or flaw free of charge and you will be reimbursed return shipping from you to us via Priority Mail only.  We will only reimburse you for Priority Mail shipping and insurance and we will not cover any extra services added to your shipment.  Your warranty is valid ONLY following these specific criteria:
  • Within 7 days: I need notification via email from you detailing exactly the defect or mistake and location of these and the baby must be postmarked within this time for return and the artist of your baby has to consent to the warrantee repair and return shipping of your baby.
  • You need to agree to contact the artist first and work with the artist of your baby doll because it is VERY important for us that you are satisfied with your baby. We put a lot of hard work and time into creating these for you the best that we are able and we want to work with you.
  • You must be the original owner/buyer no exceptions.  You also need to be the contact person for your baby doll and warrantee throughout the entire process and we reserve the right to refuse communications with any other persons.
  • Must not be altered in any way (i.e. painted, exchanged eyes, rooted, or re-rooted etc.)
  • Only the original artist of your baby is responsible for fulfilling your warranty & repairs, or shipping of your doll.
  • You need to return ship your baby packaged with the same materials or better to ensure safe travel as we cannot be held responsible for further damage due to incorrect packaging.  Please do not use any larger package than the doll was shipped in.  However, for a finished doll only, you can remove the silicone pieces and ship them in a smaller box as long as they are packaged well.
  • You are responsible for adding the correct amount of insurance equaling the purchase price of your doll on the return shipping.  If you have not added adequate insurance, and your package is lost or damaged in addition to what you have described, you will not be refunded for your doll or have a replacement for a lost baby. • Any damage that is done to the baby in the time period of warranty that is caused from the owner like accidental ripping of your silicone or other preventable owner caused accidents are not covered.

  • *Things that are NOT COVERED:  Painting style or technique, shades of coloring or depth of paint, the sculpt style of the baby itself, hair color-thickness-length or hair pattern,  base silicone color, and silicone reinforcements in the arms/ backs of knees etc. as most silicones have these and this is normal and keeps your baby from tearing.
  • You are also not guaranteed that the artist can do future PAID repairs or touch ups after your warranty is over for you on your baby.
  • Last but not least~  If you do not read this very carefully before purchase we are not responsible in any way and cannot change our terms for any reason.  Please go over this very carefully before you decide to purchase one of our babies and if you have questions please ask before purchasing.  Thanks

How do I care for my silicone baby? Silicone Care Guide TOP

We have some pointers and tips to help you care for your silicone baby from head to toe.

*Bath time....
Your baby can be bathed with body wash (baby)-or dish soap.  Hold your baby supported in your arm and hold the silicone piece under running water being careful not the get the cloth body wet.  *We recommend that you do not use a wash rag, only your hands.* Water will not hurt the silicone and temperature does not matter.  Rinse your baby's silicone and air dry.  For your baby's hair, hold the baby's head over the sink and wash with baby shampoo just like a real baby.  Try not to rub the hair excessively when you are lathering or rinsing.  You can use regular conditioner on baby's hair or use a mohair conditioner spray or a human hair detangler.  Let your baby's hair air dry completely.  It is a good idea for babies poured with Dragon Skin silicone to put a bit of baby powder or even corn starch lightly dusted on the silicone after a bath to prevent sticking of lint or even to help the clothes slide over the arms and legs so that the paint is not rubbed excessively.

*Time for a change....
It is really very important to protect your baby as much as possible when putting clothes on and off to help avoid tears and rubbing off of paint. I put my hands through as much of the sleeve or pant leg as possible, much like you would do with a real newborn, and I cover the fingers or feet with my fist and pull through to help avoid friction.

*Hair do's & don't s.....
You should use only a baby brush or baby comb to style your baby's hair.  Be really careful when using the comb because mohair fibers are more easily broken than human hair and in silicones, the hair can pull out more easily.  If you come across a tangle, hold the hair at the base and work through it gently.  Don't ever let your baby's wet hair contact other items until it's completely dry.  It helps to use a deep treatment conditioner if the hair seems brittle or lacks luster.  You shouldn't ever use any heat on the hair.

*Protecting baby.....
A word of caution, please be careful & mindful of wearing lotions or perfumes when holding your baby because silicones are relatively new and we don't quite know what it can do over time.  It is thought to possibly yellow your silicone.  You should keep your baby out of direct sunlight.  It is a good idea to remember to keep dust off of your baby because it will help you keep your baby in better condition longer.

*Baby's lifetime.....
To make your baby last longer and for proper care of your silicone, you should never distort features by pulling, pushing, or holding your baby by its limb.  Every type of silicone has what is called tensile strength or tear strength and generally the softer the silicone- the less that it is meant to stretch.  Usually a Dragon Skin poured silicone doll, one of the toughest silicones, can tear in places like between fingers and behind knees etc. if you are not careful dressing your baby and may start out as an unnoticeable line.   If you put your baby in a glass display case and keep him/her there, the silicone manufacturer guarantees the silicone of your baby to keep for 15 years + .  If you hold and dress your baby, depending on how often you do these things, you can expect it to last anywhere from 6 months to 10 years.

How do I know what kind of silicone my baby is? What is the difference? TOP

There are two types of silicone:  Platinum cure and Tin cure.  They get their names from the metal that is an ingredient used to chemically react and cure the silicone.  So Platinum is just that- Platinum metal and Tin made with Tin.  The rest of the ingredients are pretty much the same and the main ingredient being silica, A.K.A. main ingredient in glass.

Nearly all babies made by individual professional artists now use Platinum cure.  Usually, dolls that you get from large manufacturer companies are Tin cure.  It's almost impossible to tell the two apart when cured.  How I tell the two apart is by their smell.  Platinum cure is fairly pleasant and not overwhelmingly strong and sort of has a slight citrus quality to the smell.  I have to get close to a Platinum cure baby to smell it.  If you have ever had a Tin cure baby- usually you WILL know.  Tin cure is very strong and you can smell the baby usually within 2 feet or more and is not as pleasant and it just smells like chemicals.  Visually- they look identical to me and the big deal about Platinum cure and Tin cure is that Platinum cure lasts longer over time, called library life, and the costs are more for Platinum and Tin cure is very cost effective and has about 5 years or more less for it's library life.

Platinum cure and Tin cure silicones are not compatible in any way shape or form in uncured state and will inhibit (interrupt/prevent) curing of each other when near each other as liquids sort of like Superman and Kryptonite, however when cured, they can be side by side without any effects to each other.  So cured babies can be stored together.

If you ever have a question about which type of silicone your baby is poured with, you should ask the artist and if you are not sure who the artist is, this method of I.D. might help you.

Can I heat my silicone doll kit? TOP

Yes, you definitely can!  Most silicone, 100% alone (no paint or hair), can withstand upwards of 300º F and is what some bake ware is made from.  However, I recommend a different temperature and time.  I only recommend using a conventional oven, NOT CONVECTION - and absolutely no heat guns ever.  Your oven should be set at the warm setting or 175° F .  The silicone should only be in the oven for up to 2 hours at a time and needs to be on a cookie sheet and constantly supervised.  It is a good idea to use a rack thermometer.  You should heat your pieces in a separate oven than your everyday cooking oven and you should also use adequate ventilation.  Heating helps eliminate moisture after prepping and cleaning the silicone with soap and water as well as helping to cure your paints and sealants.  An alternative to heating them in the oven is allowing the pieces to dry overnight before painting.

Do you ship internationally? TOP
Yes I do.

What are V.A.T. taxes or charges? TOP
V.A.T. or Value After Taxes are a customs fee charged by some countries and may or may not be charged every time or by every country.  These taxes are also assessed by the value of the items being purchased.  Each country varies and these fees are not determinable prior to shipping and are the buyers responsibility.  These taxes are only for those that are ordering and receiving their orders in a country outside of the United States.

Can I become a dealer for your kits? TOP
Yes, you can be a dealer for other products too however not for silicone kits.  Anybody can if you are a current dealer and you have a Tax I.D. number it is very easy to become one.  Go to Wholesale and click the "apply" link and I will get back with you as soon as possible.  Please email me with any questions that you might have.

Can I transfer my Pre-Order Deposit to another doll on your site? TOP
Unfortunately I am unable to offer this at this time.

Can I heat my vinyl doll kit? TOP
Yes you can if you are using Genesis Heat Set Paints.  However, it is recommended that you heat them at lower temperatures than the standard 275° F (a recommended lower temperature varies greatly from artist to artist) and because of this lowered temperature, you should heat/cure your pieces for a longer period of time and again varies.  This can be done with an internal thermometer in an oven that should preferably be separate from your everyday cooking oven, convection oven, or by a temperature controlled heat gun.  Be careful to adjust the racks of your oven so that your pieces on the cookie sheet are centered the same distance from the top - bottom elements and sides to avoid accidents or uneven paint curing.  Make sure to constantly check on your pieces and the temperatures in the oven.  It is also recommended to have adequate ventilation for any of these methods if heating your kit.
